These are medium sized tumbled Apache Tears that come from Mexico. Their size ranges from 1.25″ to 1.75″. There is an interesting legend behind these stones from the early days of the old west in central Arizona. The legend states that there was a battle where many Apache braves lost their lives. Loved ones came after the battle and mourned their dead warriors, and the tears they shed are said to have turned to stone becoming Apache Tears!
These are a must have stone for the serious collector! These can be found in parts of the American Southwest as well as Mexico. Apache Tears are said to have healing benefits of support in times of grief, sadness, and provide emotional strength.
